Harwin have expanded their High Reliability family to include high density power connectors, that can handle currents up to 10A. Based on a 3mm pitch, the new M300 connectors are designed for rugged environments and withstand twice the number of operations as older generation products.
Comments Scott Flower, Hi-Rel Product Manager: "An increasing number of customers in applications such as defence and commercial aircraft, industrial, oil and gas exploration, satellites and UAVs are demanding a durable power connector system, that delivers high performance and extreme temperature tolerance in the 5-10 Amp range."
High-Reliability Performance
M300 connectors feature a 4-fingered Beryllium Copper female contact which delivers superb electrical and mechanical performance. Devices suit 18 to 22AWG applications, and are designed for use in temperatures between -65 and +175°C. Mating operations are rated for 1,000 cycles. They pass Shock (EIA-364-27: 100g 6ms No Discontinuity >1µs) and Vibration (EIA-364-28 10g No Discontinuity >1µs) testing. Jackscrews are available for extra security on the cable connectors.
Other features include keyway polarisation and identification of the #1 position, and the connector bodies are molded in environmentally-friendly material.

Harwin's Flecto range represents the state-of-the-art of today's floating connector technologies. Capable of withstanding up to ±0.5mm misalignment in both the X and Y axes, these fine-pitch board-to-board connectors offer perfect alignment.
Harwin has expanded its range of ready-to-use cable assemblies for the high reliability range of Gecko connectors with the addition of cable assemblies for the Gecko-SL connectors which feature Screw-Lok (SL) jackscrew fixings.
The Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) enables a high level of automation within manufacturing and processing facilities. It helps companies achieve real progress to improve efficiency, productivity, and output quality.
Harwin has significantly raised the power levels that its product portfolio can support with the introduction of the Kona series
We now live in an age with systems that rely on constant access to large quantities of real-time data. Through inline measurement, these large quantities of data allow industrial processes to operate more efficiently
The world is well underway in transitioning over to electrification to power future transport systems, this is driven by the requirement to reduce carbon emissions associated with the use of fossil fuels and the impact on the environment
